Owned by the Spalletti Trivelli family, this winery is set on a little hill in the countryside of Piegaro, in a zone close to the border of Umbria and Tuscany.
The 10 hectares of property are surrounded by woods and lie on soil that is rich in skeleton grain, pebbly soil that lands longevity and character to the wines produced. Sariano 2010 and Arale 2012 are extremely appealing and satisfying.
The first, a red from Sangiovese grapes, embraces the palate with its ripe fruit character, while the second, a white from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, is striking for its lively flavor and important body that needs time to express itself fully.
Finally we must mention the production of an extraordinary oil from moraiolo and leccino cultivar olives.
